Gitlab Issue Labels for eLxr projects

We’re aligning our GitLab labels with our current workflow and looking for a clear, consistent easy-to-filter way to categorize different types of work. here is some of my proposed labels

  1. type::bug – Software defects
  2. type::feature – New functionality
  3. type::enhancement – Improvements to existing features
  4. type::documentation – Documentation updates
  5. type::testing – Testing related

We may need additional labels in the future, but the goal is to keep the labels as unified and consistent as possible

Thanks for the proposal, I think this is a very good idea.

Labels are rather flexible on Gitlab in general it seems, but I like the proposal of defining and documenting a base set of labels like you are doing.

I have added some priority labels in the past period as well, because I needed some kind of prioritization of epics and issues.

I am of course open to feedback on those priority labels.

I will change your post to a Wiki, so we can maybe keep it as a running document that can be updated.
